【この記事は英語学習入門者向けです。】 管理人がいつも利用している辞書サイトを紹介します。有名どころばかりですが。 ・英辞郎 on the WEB (英和、和英など。日本語に翻訳したいときに便利。） http://www.alc.co.jp/ SPACE ALCサイトのオンライン辞書です。 用例豊富。 欠点は、医学用語などの専門用語が何百もずらりと並んでしまうことがあること。ALCに問い合わせてみましたが、医学用語を除外する方法は今のところないらしい。（マイナス検索で多少マシになる場合もある） ・Dictionary.com （英語による英語のオンライン辞書。） http://dictionary.reference.com/ おそらく一番有名なオンライン英語辞書。ネイティブスピーカー向けで、もちろん全部英語です。 発音も聞けるので、正確な発音を知りたいときは役に立ちます。 ・Google Translate　 （手軽に発音を確認したいとき用。翻訳には不向き。） http://translate.google.com/ 本来の使用法は機械翻訳ですが、近い言語同士ならともかく日本語と英語では今のところ全く使えません。翻訳には英辞郎を使いましょう。 ですが、 発音を確認したいときには、他の辞書サイトよりも速くて圧倒的に使いやすい。 ただし、ちょっとぎこちない発音が多いので、英語初心者は気をつけてください。 ・Online Etymology Dictionary （英語の語源辞典） http://www.etymonline.com/index.php 英語サイトです。中級以上の人は英語の勉強をするときには、基本的に語源確認必須なので是非利用してください。 ・Google Images 　（Google画像検索） https://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi 辞書サイトではないんですが、私は一番よく使っているかもしれません。 辞書を見ただけでは正確なイメージがつかみにくいので、使い慣れていない語を使いたいときには一応検索してみたほうがいいです。 あと、用例調べるのにGoogle検索は基本ですよね。 ・Urban Dictionary ...
